The Books
The Professor Golden Coin series consists of three parts:
- What Is Money? – What Is Money? shows how money became a part of the world as well as how and why it has changed and evolved over time. What Is Money? exposes a child to notions such as barter, commodity, receipt, fractional, and fiat money.
- How Is Money Created? – How Is Money Created? explains the concept of money creation and who is involved in fabricating money. How Is Money Created? exposes a child to notions such as commercial and central banks, bank’s reserve, deposit, credit, debt, interest, and tax.
- Booms and Busts – Booms and Busts explains the nature of economic cycles and how they affect people’s lives. The 3rd installment to the series exposes a child to notions such as economic boom and bust, supply, demand, and inflation!
‘What is Money?’, ‘How Is Money Created?’ and ‘Booms and Busts’ are all distinct from one another and teach children about specific aspects of money!
